WHY GREEN INDUSTRY
Why an industrial company protects rainforest.
The economy leaves traces.
We've seen them.
In 2018, we stood on barren, dead ground – where once dense rainforest rustled. No bird calls, no rustling of the leaves. Only silence. Only emptiness. A place of no return.
But that's exactly where ours began.
Because we're not an NGO. We come from the industry. We've built processes, developed products, and generated growth. For decades.
Until we realized: Business can do more. It can take responsibility. It can regenerate.
And responsibility doesn't begin externally. It begins within ourselves.
That's why we founded Green Industry.
And that’s why today, there is:
The Llano Bonito Nature Reserve.
EFFECT INSTEAD OF SYMBOLISM
We show results, not empty promises.
TRANSPARENCY INSTEAD OF GREENWASHING
We speak plainly and let the facts speak for themselves.
ACTING INSTEAD OF WAITING
We implement ideas instead of just talking about them.

OUR MISSION
And Erik, who lives it on site.
Our mission is to reconcile nature and the economy – not just lip service, but a lived responsibility. This is precisely what Green Industry stands for.
And that's also what Erik Reinhold, one of our founders, who now lives locally in Costa Rica, stands for. Erik is not only the initiator, but also the heart and soul of the Llano Bonito Nature Reserve. He knows the people who work here. He listens to them. He makes decisions with them. He ensures that our vision doesn't remain on the drawing board, but takes root in everyday life. His deep connection with the local people and nature is what brings our project to life.
